7.62x39 AR15 Build

I am starting a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 stripped lower receiver ($200) that I aquired at a gun show recently. It certainly wasn't the cheapest stripped lower that I could have gone with but I wanted a good name brand that I didn't have. I four other AR's, 3 of which I have built. I'll put some pics up of those as well.

Parts were ordered on May 5, 2009 and are expected to ship to me in early October. Here's what I got:

16" 7.62x39mm 1 in 10" twist barrel
A3 upper
YHM flip front sight tower, with bayonet lug
Badger extended latch charging handle
YHM smooth free float rail handguards
Olive green pistol grip
Olive green 4-position buttstock
Olive green Ergo rail covers

This project has been put on hold due to the fact I have items that are on backorder as many as 4 months. Fortunately the SW94 will keep me busy for a while. (06/25/2009)
